This study has been conducted to find out the effect Gol-ki therapy has on right
and left facial symmetry. For clinical human trials, 16 subjects, 20-35 year old
males and females, were selected according to the clinical research facility's standardized procedures of subject qualification criteria. From January 1st to March 15th, 2013, 16 subjects were provided with 20 Gol-ki therapy sessions within 10 weeks. Gol-ki therapy's effect was evaluated after administration in the same environment for 20 sessions, within the span of 10 weeks. Facial asymmetry in 2 dimensional right and left comparison improved by 14.06%, EX-AI and Ch-Go symmetry reduced by each 1.34mm, 3.13mm, thus showing that Gol-ki therapy has an impact on facial right and left asymmetry. Addtionally, Gol-ki therapy subjects positively rated customer
satisfaction categories at an average of 3.5.

[Yakson House] Yakson House's recommendation for weight loss diet/ Tips for diet

1) Chew well and slowly. Especially as you age.
(Hasty eating causes the pancreas to rapidly secrete insulin which produces fat. This means that it is much easier for your food to turn into fat in your body.)
2) Stay away from cold food. Especially for women.
(Body warmth is essential for fat breakdown. Raising the body temperature by 1 degree increases the basal calorie consumption by 14%. The arms also get thicker.)
3) Always eat three meals a day. Always eat starch and proteins.
(The stomach secretes gastric juice only when we eat starch and proteins. Dietary fibers are acidic and so they do not stimulate secretion of gastric juice and are not digested. But more importantly, fibers prevent the stomach from moving and may lead to lethargy of the stomach. This will then fatten the thighs and accumulate gas in the body, affecting the overall health. If you are too busy to eat three meals a day, take simple foods like rice drinks, ground nuts, almonds and fried eggs to improve the gastric function and prevent yo-yo effect after losing weight.)
4) Stay away from salty foods. One spoonful of rice per limited portion of side dishes
(Salty foods cause edema. Your calves can get fat, but more importantly, you become more vulnerable to geriatric diseases. Women, particularly, tend to use a lot of calcium and should stay away from salty foods all the more. This is because when the sodium level increases in your body, the amount of calcium leaving your body also increases.)
5) Wait for 2 hours after a meal before drinking water. Try citron tea instead of water if possible.
(If you drink water immediately after a meal, your stomach will slack. That will also make your face skin slack, compress your colon and cause constipation. Also, when the gastric juice is secreted to digest the food in the stomach, adding water dilutes gastric juice and therefore deteriorates the digestion function.)
6) Rice is useful for raising the energy consumption level.
(Consumption of carbohydrates increases the overall energy consumption level of our body by 10%. Since cold carbohydrates yield lower consumption rate, you should always heat your bread and cookies in the microwave oven or chew well so that only warm carbohydrates reach the stomach.)
7) Wait for 2 hours after massage or exercise before eating or drinking.
(Our body generates heat when it consumes energy. Increased body heat helps blood circulation and has positive effect on the overall health. But eating when the body is hot can cause the food to accumulate faster.)
8) If you want to gain weight, eat like sumo wrestlers in Japan.
(They exercise 6 hours in the morning and then eat rice with udon soup. They take a nap immediately after the meal. When they wake, they exercise for another 6 hours, followed by another meal and sleep. If you want to gain weight, just do likewise.)
9) Stay away from soup and water during your meal.
(When mixed with water, food decomposes and releases gas faster in the stomach. The toxins released  absorb in the body and deteriorates the immune function. It also has swelling effect on the abdomen, making you look less attractive in your clothes.)
10) Drink adequate water. Drink as much as 14 times the body weight.
(Drinking much water helps release toxins out of the body and resolve constipation. But it can also deteriorate the kidney and bladder functions, resulting in edema. Edema makes your body moist and makes it harder to burn fats.)
11) Never consume dairy products between meals.

(Dairy products neutralize gastric juice, making it harder to digest foods and making the foods release harmful toxins.)

Fashion, style, latest trends – these three will never miss a woman’s bucket, especially those who refer themselves as “IN”. 
These days, beauty is defined by what we see in media – that’s why lots of us are strongly influenced by it. And I admit I’m one of the victims. I was born with huge athletic thighs and legs like my mom. (Ohh the genes! She could have just blessed me the chromosomes of her pointed nose, but no I had her legs instead, of all things, her legs. ) 
I have been struggling with these since I reached maturity.  I was called “balyena”, “amazona”, “kapre” - yadayada. Name it! I’d be happy to hear more. But it came to a point where I just have to accept and deal with what I have, because I can’t do anything about it. I have been blessed with a good pair of functioning legs, so why complain right? 
Years passed and I saw a glitch that can actually make things different. And there you go, I enrolled in a gym. Booyah! I attended my weights training class every day for 2-3 months. I dedicated my time to it because I really wanted my legs to slim down a little. And hey, all the sweat and pain paid off! I was so fulfilled after those months of working out. After that, I can confidently flaunt my legs and wear shorts as much as I want to. (Ha. Ha. Who’s balyena now?) 
Til… I became lazy. I stopped hitting the gym coz I started working. I ate a lot from the food coverage I was doing for my job. (When you’re a reporter, almost everything comes for free. Yey! But nay! LEGS)
My legs became huge again within a snap! Ha! Joke is on me. But instead of fats, I got muscles - firm legs, with BIG muscles.

And then a blessing came. I saw an ad on Facebook from a Korean Beauty company, Yakson House, saying they need a “Beauty Editor”, so I applied and luckily I was picked. They asked me to write for them in exchange of 10 free sessions of one of their products. First thing that came into my mind – legs. 


When everything is settled, contract agreement, booking reservations, taking photos, I attended the first session. It was a leg slimming program! Yey! 
It was my first time to get a slimming program. Never in my life I planned to get this kind of products (but I always daydream about it) because - first it’s costly, second it’s costly, and third IT’S COSTLY. (I hope I reiterate it enough) But see, I got it for free so, why not? 
So here’s what happened – Miss Yumin Kim, the owner, asked me to change my clothes first. They have a pair of short and a shirt inside the room where they do the program. After I changed, we started with a “Golki Massage”. Miss Yumin Kim described it as a “bone-to-bone” massage. She did it to me herself. She used her arm bones to massage all my leg bones - ankles and thighs included too. And ooh! I can tell that she’s strong! Having big legs like mine, I was impressed. Ha! She's really strong. It was relaxing but a little painful. 



After the golki massage, she asked her assistant to come and do the next step. Here, she used a Kalsa – a plate-liked ceramic with a hole in the middle – to scrub my legs. And hey, when I say scrub, I mean SCRUB. She did it with force and it was so painful that it comes to a point I had bruises already. But I didn’t bother. I can tolerate the pain, I conditioned my mind to tolerate the pain – for better looking legs. 



The last part was Electrotherapy – it comes with the aid of a slimming machine. It was said to help lose fats, tone muscles, improve blood circulation, eliminate body toxins and increase metabolism. 

That's how the process works. Massage - Scrub - Electrotherapy.
I had done three sessions, there’s seven left. So far, it was good and I can see some changes already.
