Are you worried about dry and rough skin by the harsh winds and the temperature difference between day and night?

A lack of vitamin A can make dry skin and it reduces skin’s elasticity, and easily causes fine wrinkles. Carrots contain a lot of beta-carotene, which is converted into vitamin A in the body after ingestion. Carrots not only can quickly restore damaged skin barrier, but also help to make your skin smooth and hydrated.

3. Pumpkin

A pumpkin is an excellent food for strengthening skin elasticity. In addition, the pumpkin contains vitamin E, a typical antioxidant. Vitamin E protects skin from active oxygen and forms a protective skin barrier, helping to keep skin moisturized.

4. Walnuts

Walnuts contain alpha linolenic acid, the only vegetable omega-3 fatty acid in nuts, which strengthens skin, helps to make moisturizing skin, and prevents wrinkles. Particularly, alpha linolenic acid is not produced in the body so that you need to eat. As protein is abundant, blood circulation is facilitated and it also helps prevent hair loss.

5. Dark Chocolate

Cacao contains a large amount of the antioxidant flavonol, a type of polyphenol that has the effect of increasing skin cell density and enhancing moisture retention. These polyphenols increase the elasticity of the skin, which can help to moisturize the skin. However, the above benefits are only contained in sugar-free dark chocolate containing more than 70% cacao content only.
