1. Gwanghwamun Gate
- Gwanghwamun is the main and largest gate of Geongbokgung Palace, in Jongno-gu, South Korea. It is a landmark and symbol of Seoul, Korea. Gwanghwamun Gate consists of three arched gates; the center gate was used by the king, while the other two were used by the crown prince and royal officials. The gate has gone through multiple periods of destruction and disrepair. Restoration work on the gate was finished and it wsa opened to th public on August 15, 2010.

2. King Sejong Statue


- Who is King Sejong?
Korea’s King Sejong, who reigned during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). Sejong is best known for his development of Hangul, the phonetic system for writing the Korean language that is still in use. The creation of an easily learned alphabet facilitated the achievement of literacy among the Korean people.


-The King Sejong Statue is at the center of Gwanhwamun Square in Seoul, Korea.
Behind the statue, there are six columns with golden carvings depicting the King’s major accomplishments, as well as an underground passage to the ‘Sejong’s Story’ exhibition hall. Surrounding the statue, on the edges of the Square, is the ‘Waterway of History’.
