Jusangjeolli Cliff is a spectacular volcanic rock
formation at the southern coast of Jeju Island. Jusangjeolli Cliff was created
when the lava from Hallasan Mountain erupted into the sea of Jungmun. It was
designated as Natural Monument No. 443 on January 6, 2005. You can see the
magnificence of nature from Jusangjeolli. Hope you to enjoy the refreshing hues
of the sea, hexagonal rock pillars, and crashing waves.

Jeju Island is famous for its unique stone, basalt.
Basalt is a type of rock with many small holes in it. The geological strata of
Jeju Island are composed of basaltic lava. By Jeju’s applications of stones, Jeju Stone
Park was inspired. The main theme of the park is the foundation and identity of
Jeju Island. The park serves as a historical and cultural space.

* You can easily see ‘Dol hareubangs’(Stone figures) anywhere in
Jeju! The name of Dol Hareubang derives from the Korean word for “stone” (dol 돌), and
Jeju dialect word hareubang (하르방), meaning “grandfather” or “senior”. The statues have a meaning of fertility, and small replicas are
sometimes given to women with fertility problem.
3. Cheonjeyeon Falls

Cheonjeyeon Falls, named ‘The pond of God’, has three
sections, eventually, the water reaches the ocean. According to Korean legend,
seven nymphs would descend from the heavnes at night and bathe in the waterfall’s pond. In Cheonjeyeon Valley, visitors can see Seonimgyo Bridge
(arch bridge with 7 nymphs carved on the side). Seomingyo Bridge is also called
Chilseonyeogyo, meaning “seven nymphs bridge”.
