A cup of coffee may help you to start the day off.
Coffee sometimes gives you a boost, but too much coffee a day may damage your health.
It's becoming one of the essential drinks that many people need, but they worry about the caffeine that coffee has.
Today I'm going to talk about how to drink coffee better
Let's find out.



What is the recommended amount of caffeine per day?
The recommended caffeine intake per day is 400 mg for a general adult, 300 mg for a pregnant woman,
125mg for a teenager..
Since a tall sized coffee contains about 123 mg of caffeine, it is okay to drink 3 cups of Americano, 5 cups of canned coffee and 8 cups of mixed coffee. 
But the recommended amount of caffeine varies person by person, if you drink a cup of coffee and your heart is beating fast or you can’t sleep, you may need to drink less.



Drinking coffee in the morning?
Many people enjoy to drink coffee in the morning to relieve the fatigue, but it is not a good morning habit.
Our bodies naturally produces cortisol in the morning, cortisol is secreted in response to stress. 
It has a role in providing energy to body.
If you drink coffee, the secretion of cortisol becomes stopped.
So you may feel tired everyday.
Hence, drinking morning coffee 2 hours after breakfast is the best. 



Drink coffee to increase the effectiveness of exercise! 
Drinking coffee before exercise increase the effectiveness of exercise.
It promotes the circulation of the blood and supply oxygen to muscles while exercising, and physical function is improved.
Caffeine also prevent muscle loss and protect the muscles. It may leads to improve the sports ability.
If you are on a diet, drink Americano rather than coffee with high sugar content.




Drink water often after drinking coffee.
Drinking coffee is known to be diuretic, it leads dehydration.
Also if you drink coffee often, it may cause constipation.
So after drinking a cup of coffee, drinking one or two glasses of water is recommended to prevent dehydration.
