[YAKSON] HOW TO MAKE MULLED WINE?

Mulled wine is a warm or hot drink made by wine, fruits, and some spices like cinnamon and cloves.
Mulled wine is also called Vin chaud. 

As Christmas season is coming, more and more shops sell hot cups of mulled wine, a cup of mulled wine in winter definitely warm you up from head to toe!
It is served hot or warm and there are alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions. 

 It is not difficult to make a Mulled wine at home, I will let you know how to make homemade mulled wine~

 Mulled wine ingredients:
- 1 bottle of red wine, 1 apple, 1 lemon, 1 orange, baking soda(for washing the fruits), 1 cinnamon stick, 1 star anise, 6 cloves, and 1~2 spoons of sugar or honey.

1. At first, to make a mulled wine, a bottle of red wine is needed. You don’t have to buy an expensive one, you can choose inexpensive wine at any market.

2.Prepare 1 cinnamon stick, 1 star anise, and 6 cloves. These spices can be added or removed some, it’s up to your taste.



3. Wash the fruits with warm or hot water and baking soda or 1 ~ 2 spoons of vinegar. 
Since fruit is used in its skin, it is important to keep it clean!

 4. Remove the seeds from an apple, lemon and orange and cut them into 1-cm-thin slices.

5. Put a bottle of wine, sliced fruits, and spices together into the pot and boil it over high heat until it is bring up to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and simmer gently for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

6. You can add some sugar or honey if you would like to have a sweeter mulled wine.
