Yakson House Makati: Second Session of Face Re-sizing Care





As we all know, Yakson House boasts its non-invasive, non-surgical procedure when it comes to face re-sizing care. Head therapist, Kim, uses the method of Golki Therapy, which is a technique which the therapist reshapes the skeletal structures to eventually create a better symmetry of the skull.
Last Thursday, I visited Yakson House for my second session of face re-sizing care. I had a rough day at work that’s why having a massage and the golki therapy was the best way to relax and forget work even for just a while. Joana was the one who did all the procedures, except for the golki therapy part (Kim is the only one allowed to do this part).

The process:
  • It started with a back massage which, by the way, was the most relaxing part of the process. My personal favorite!
  • Shoulder and neck massage which, for me, can tickling at times.

  • Hot compress on shoulder and neck. Don’t worry, the therapist will let you know that she will put on the hot towel and will gently massage you.
  • Facial cleansing. Joana applied facial wash and facial toner to my face.
  • Second round of hot compress on the face. I love this part!
  • Facial massage. Joana’s hands, just like Liza’s (the other therapist), were as light as feathers. This lasted for 15-20 minutes.
  • Application of face moisturizing cream.
  • The main part of the session, golki therapy. This was the most excruciating part. I think all my facial bones were breaking. Dinaan ako sa mga small talks ni Kim pero parang binabali niya na ang facial bones ko. HUHUHU regardless, masarap!

  • Second round of facial wash.
  • Application of red ginseng face mask. This is the new addition to the face re-sizing process. This mask is made up of 30 Korean herbal ingredients design to tighten and firm facial skin. And you know what is the best thing about it? It smells like coffee!

  • Second round of facial cleansing and facial massage.
  • Third round of hot compress
  • Application of BB cream.
  • Final massage – arm and back stretching
Basically, the first and second session were just the same, but with the addition of the of red ginseng mask in the latter. As usual, the whole session was worth  it!
Here is a selfie I took right after the session. I don’t know about you, but I think that I look fresh and that I am blooming.😉

To those who are asking, the whole 10 sessions of the face re-sizing care that I am undergoing are for free since I am writing the whole service, however, if you want to avail the program, each session costs Php3,600 and the whole package (10 sessions) only costs around P22,000 – Php 25,000. I suggest that you get the whole package as you will save more! If you think that the price is still steep, I assure you that it’s worth it. They have a superb service, and you won’t regret a single cent!
